Environmental Soil Science — Certification & Professional Associations
Students completing this major are eligible to apply for certification as a soil scientist, soil specialist, or a soil classifier through ARCPACS, the American Registry of Certified Professionals in Agronomy, Crops, and Soils. They can find professional association in the Pennsylvania Association of Professional Soil Scientists or other equivalent state organizations and in national organizations such as the Soil Science Society of America and the Soil and Water Conservation Society.
